Canadian Black Metal. Better late than... Not sure what took me so damn long! There is something truly fascinating about BM from Quebec! The suspense the songs have is something very unusual & awesome. It drives your expectations & keeps you on the edge until that epic conclusion or eargasm! Highly recommended!!!

Though I feel that the band’s influences have perhaps been overlooked, it’s only because Voidescent created an album that is as good or better than those influences. A highly dynamic and expertly composed entry into the pantheon of modern bm, Dust And Embers could have easily been my AOTY last year. There is not one predictable song on the entire record.
