Primigenium is not dead, nor dreaming. Primigenium is yet the beast active in the mind and soul of Smaug since 1992. While he is working in a new album, we have decided that it's the right time to unleash "Svmmis Desiderantis Affectibvs".

This only song recording took place in 2017 in Detrito Studios at the mountains of Artzentales (Bizkaia) where Smaug had moved for a while with the aim of recording a project with some friends from that area. With the contribution of 'Kaos Absoluto' on drums, Smaug recorded all strings and vocals for this song. "Svmmis Desiderantis Affectibvs" ended being another chapter in the journey of Primigenium . This was later mastered at The Empty Hall Studios by Simon Da Silva

The idea of a split 7" vinyl is still in the thought of Smaug but due to the difficulty of finding the right band to work with, he decided now to release "Svmmis Desiderantis Affectibvs" in digital format through BlackSeed Productions.

You can buy this only song release for a symbolic cost of 1,5€ (only 1€ reach the band after fees) to support Primigenium with the recording process of the new album, which will take place again at the mountains of Artzentales, hopefully during 2020.

Il est facile d'évoquer la mort dans le black metal, genre en opposition : cette thématique y est une base par essence ; y trouver une réflexion mature et philosophique est déjà beaucoup plus rare. Salqiu prend cette réflexion à bras le corps dans Lazarus Denied et nous fait voir l'éternité à travers les pensées d'un squelette piégé dans un ossuaire. Son black metal, finement construit, joue la carte d'un univers gothique extraordinaire (surtout sur les parties II et V). Salqiu ne déçoit jamais. Jordan Vauvert
